What is lap xuong?
Lap xuong is Vietnamese fresh sausage. Ti Hon seasons fresh pork leg with sugar, salt, pepper, garlic and Mai Que Lo wine, then sun-dries it until it turns red with a light sour-sweet taste.
Ti Hon is a family workshop in Cai Lậy, Tiền Giang, making lap xuong by hand since 2011, with no saltpeter. The workshop vacuum-seals each pack on the day it is made.
Our story
Ti Hon started in 2011 as a family workshop in Cai Lậy, Tiền Giang. Three generations prepare each batch by hand, from trimming fresh pork leg to sun-drying the links under the southern sun.
Ti Hon is the name of the family dog and the workshop mascot since day one. The name has nothing to do with size - it stands for a promise to make each pack the way the family serves its own table.
Each batch is seasoned with sugar, salt, pepper, garlic and Mai Que Lo wine, then sun-dried until red with a light sour-sweet taste, with no saltpeter. Every pack is vacuum-sealed on the day it is made.

Fresh pork leg, trimmed by hand each morning.

Sun-dry
Sun-dried in Cai Lay until red and lightly sour-sweet, with no saltpeter.

Seal
Vacuum-sealed on the day it is made, then shipped across Vietnam.
